Carrara 4 Pro Test I created this new test of NWB to test out Carrara 4 Pro's new IK solver, and
I must say that I am totally impressed! The re-rigging of the character with the terminators took
a bit of time, but the final output only took about an hour to put together and maneuver.

Multimorph Test I made up this animation to test out a
"home-grown" morph file created in Carrara Studio 3.
The goal was to test facial animation using the multimorph plug-in by
A-Kuro Digital. This plug-in is worth the price and can REALLY put out.

HDRI Test I made up this animation to test out a
"home-grown" HDRI file created in Carrara Studio 3. NWB-1
(the robot) and the floor and back planes are the only objects that are
modeled in the movie itself.. The studio background/HDR file was
created in a separate CS3 file using a Global Illumination render and only
3 lights: Sunlight, and 2 bulb lights that were reflected off
of a couple of modeled reflecting umbrellas. All other light from
this render came from glows from the overhead lighting and the studio
light rig prop that I created. |

"Call Me Bruce" GI Test This little test was conducted to see how long it would take to render frames in Carrara's Global Illumination. The operative test is to see if rendering with radiosity (however faked it may be) is worth the cost timewise. There are no lights in this scene. Only a skylight setting of 100% and a white background. Total rendertime for 4 sec (@30fps): 2 hours |

Animatics Test I ran this Animatic for a test to see if Premiere will work well with Particle Illusion SE. This piece allowed me to put theory into practice while trying to set up some sequences and special effects. The AVI was zipped with Winzip 8.0. The MOV is uncompressed |

EVA Walk-Cycle This is a walk cycle for the EVA Suit I designed for the opening. The funny thing is that you spend as much time modelling the small stuff as you do the major characters. |

Introducing Flybee (FL-1B) Introducing a test for a new character for the animation. MOV only, but it should run with QT5 or higher. Its setup so that it can loop, so give it a try. |

Test Piece These are the most recent version of the test-piece for K'CHK that I've done. This piece allowed me to put theory into practice while trying to put out a quality product. Both files were zipped with Winzip 8.0 |
